Train Cargo Wagon

Approximately 36,000 train cargo wagons with coal, 14,000 train cargo wagons with other goods, as well as 12,000 wagons with food, and additional tank wagons were hauled into Airbase Fassberg during the airlift. Mainly two axle closed wagons were used to transport the cargo. Two of those formerly used carriers are now part of the exhibition. One is hosting the information centre with a small shop and parts of the exhibition. The other one is used as conference and welcome centre.
